Raisins are made by drying Grapes, in other words, raisins are dried grapes. Only grapes which are sweet are only selected for drying. In US the raisins are graded as A, B & C according to their standards. Raisins contain eight times more sugar than grapes. Raisins are rich in Vitamins, Minerals and carbohydrates.

Medicinal Benefits:

Anaemia:
Raisins are rich in iron. Hence they cure anaemia if consumed regularly.

Sexual Vigor:
Take 15 grams of raisins. Boil them with 250 ml of milk. Eat the raisins and drink the milk, three times a day. This will increase and restore the sexual vigor.

Gain Weight:
Consume raisins to gain weight. Very useful for underweight persons.

Constipation:
Soak raisins in a glassful of drinking water for 24 hours. Eat the raisins and drink the water early in the morning.

            Tomato, also called as “Love Apple” was once grown in garden as an ornament plant. Tomato is a perennial annual plant. The fruit is fleshy, round or oval shaped and in red, pink or yellow in colour. There are also many varieties of tomato.

            Tomato can be eaten raw, cooked or making juice of it or making soups. Tomato is useful for heart, kidney disorders, indigestion, gas, constipation, liver diseases, anemia etc.

Medicinal Benefits:

Diarrhoea:
            Cut tomato into small pieces. Dry them in an oven and make powder of it. Now mix two spoonful of this powder in a cup of drinking water and consume this twice a day. This will cure diarrhoea.

Respiratory Disorders:
            Make a glassful of fresh tomato juice. Mix one spoonful of honey and a pinch of cardamom powder. Every night swallow three peeled cloves of garlic and drink the tomato juice. This is very good for tuberculosis and other lung infections.
